Acaba de publicarse una reseña, realmente positiva, del libro "Emotionalizing Organizations and Organizing Emotions", coordinado por Barbara Sieben y Asa Wettergren, en el Canadian Journal of Sociology, 36(1) (Winter 2011)
En dicha reseña hay un párrafo dedicado al capítulo que escribí en dicho libro: "Emotions of Queuing: A Mirror of Immigrants' Social Condition":
“In a notable piece of ethnographic research, Alberto Martin Perez demonstrates how migrants and immigrants queuing for citizenship status cards must mange outward displays of anguish, humiliation, and resignation to avoid being removed from the line or otherwise denied citizenship”
Le estoy muy agradecido al autor de la reseña por su comentario. Eso de "notable piece of ethnographic research" y que se afirme que mi artículo "demonstrates", es para mí todo un reconocimiento al trabajo realizado.
